Manchester United fans showed out at Old Trafford last season despite poor performances. According to UEFA, United’s total attendance in Premier League home matches was 1,397,148, higher than any other club in Europe.

Erik Ten Hag’s men finished 8th in the league last season, the worst position in club history. If not for the FA Cup win over Manchester City, the Reds would not be in European competition at all this season.

Struggles have abounded for Manchester United after Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013, but fans have stuck by the side through it all. Never have we seen, nor will we ever see, empty seats like those at the Etihad, no matter the results.

This season, Old Trafford has seen a win and a loss. In both matches, though, supporters filled the stands, singing Glory, Glory, Man United and chanting the names of our heroes.

This statistic from UEFA only confirms what we already know, that United has the best fans in the world and that we stand by our club no matter what. While our team may not currently be number one, our fans are, and we will be there when the next Premier League title is lifted in the Red half of Manchester.

One can only imagine how many supporters United will draw in a 100,000-seat stadium…
