Manchester United is considering a €20 million move for Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui. The Moroccan international has spent the last two seasons in Munich. After a difficult second half of last season, he reportedly may favor a new challenge over another year in Bavaria.

The interest in the 26-year-old comes amid speculation that Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be moving away from Old Trafford in the coming weeks. West Ham United, who is also interested in Mazraoui, is one of the teams rumored to have concrete interest in Wan-Bissaka.

While primarily a right-back, Mazraoui can also play left-back and center midfield if needed. This flexibility, much like Diogo Dalot, can help in squad rotation and when injuries inevitably occur.

Manchester United remain interested in also bringing in a true left-back. Miguel Gutierrez, Ferdi Kadioglu, Milos Kerkez, and Marcos Alonso are all names that have surfaced as potential signings in that position.

While Mazraoui could be a good replacement for Wan-Bissaka, a left-back should be the main priority, especially after last season. There is still plenty of work left to do for Dan Ashworth in what has already been a busy window.
