Turkish utility back Ferdi Kadioglu’s transfer price has been set at around €30 million by Fenerbahçe.
The outside back is right-footed but has shown an excellent ability to play both left and right back, as well as further up the pitch when needed.
At this summer’s Euros, Kadioglu was a star man for a Turkish side that impressed. His attacking prowess out of the back was on full display, and he averaged 2.4 key passes per game.
Manchester United is in need of another outside back, especially a left-back. With Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia down for the second half of the season, Diogo Dalot was forced to play in that position.
Ferdi Kadioglu would be a brilliant signing to go with Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, who have already been confirmed. His play style fits with Ten Hag’s mentality, and he adds another player under 24 to a team that is getting younger.
Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Miguel Gutierrez for the left-back position.
