Over the past few summers, rumors about Marcus Rashford moving to Paris have surfaced. This year, those rumors may hold more value.
According to talkSPORT, PSG have rekindled their interest in the Manchester United left-winger. Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid leaves a glaring need in that position for the Parisien giants.
Rashford, who was left at home by Gareth Southgate for the Euros, was unable to continue his form from the 2022-2023 season, where he scored 30 times in all competitions. He netted just 7 times this past season and was even benched multiple times before the season ended.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is interested in allowing Rashford to leave, but only for a large transfer fee. Ratcliffe and his Ineos team are ready to rebuild Manchester United’s squad, and allowing Rashford to leave could open the door to more incoming transfers.
The emergence of Alejandro Garnacho could also ease the transition for the Reds, as the Argentine winger’s preferred side is the left.
Marcus Rashford has been a fixture in the first team since his debut in 2016. He has 131 goals and 66 assists in over 400 appearances in all competitions for United. He has produced some incredible moments over the years, including a match-winning penalty in Paris that sent Manchester United past PSG and into the Champions League quarterfinals.
Would you rather have United keep Rashford or sell him to raise funds for other transfers?
