Manchester United will meet Leicester City for the third time this season on Friday in the FA Cup. The first two matches resulted in wins for United, with current Leicester City manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy leading the Reds to victory.

Team News

Lisandro Martinez tore his ACL in the loss to Crystal Palace and likely won’t be available until after the start of next season. The devastating injury leaves Ruben Amorim with Harry Maguire, Matthijs De Ligt, Leny Yoro, Victor Lindelof, and new signing Ayden Heaven as the healthy center-back options.

Luke Shaw, who was close to a return to the first team, is now out for at least another four weeks after suffering a setback in his recovery. This latest issue makes Patrick Dorgu’s arrival more important, especially considering Tyrell Malacia’s deadline-day loan exit.

Dorgu is set to debut against Leicester after being unveiled to supporters at the weekend, while Ayden Heaven may be on the bench for the first time.

Diogo Dalot was sent off in Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Southampton in the FA Cup Third Round but will be available after serving the suspension in league play.

Jonny Evans and Mason Mount will remain out due to their long-term injuries.
