Manchester United has announced Noussair Mazraoui as the club’s Player of the Month for November. The Moroccan international received the award over Amad Diallo and Andre Onana, both of whom also had exceptional months.
Mazraoui started all five matches in November. Despite playing in three different positions, the 27-year-old ended the month with an average rating of 7.5 on Sofascore. His most important contribution came when he assisted Rasmus Hojlund’s leveler against Bodo/Glimt, a match that United won 3-2.
Manchester United secured Noussair Mazraoui’s services for just €15 million over the summer, a number that looks like a steal so far.
Ruben Amorim recently praised Mazraoui saying:
“He’s a top player, because he understands the game. He knows how to attack, he’s very technical, he’s very good defensively and he’s very good one on one.
“He’s a modern player. I think he’s the future of our team. When you think about him you think like we need more players like Nous that can control the tempo, they are really, really good and comfortable with the ball.
“They understand the game, so Nous, I’m really happy with him.”
Mazraoui will look to build on his November performances in a busy and important December for Manchester United.
