Manchester United began the Ruben Amorim era with a draw at Ipswich Town on Sunday. Now, the new United boss will face his first Europa League test as Norwegian league leaders Bodo/Glimt travel to Old Trafford.
The Reds are currently in 15th place, only two points above the elimination zone. Although Amorim would like to use these matches to experiment with his new players, he must field his strongest available team to help get United back on track in the competition.
Team News
United will likely be missing several key players for the match on Thursday. Leny Yoro is progressing well from his foot injury but remains a doubt as he continues to ramp up training with the first team. Lisandro Martinez is available, though may not start after sustaining an injury while on international duty.
Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and Toby Collyer will remain out with their respective injuries.
Luke Shaw and Mason Mount returned to action as substitutes at the weekend. While both looked solid after coming on, they are likely to remain as subs while they return to match fitness.
Kobbie Mainoo is expected to return to action after being on the bench at Portman Road.
