Manchester United’s next five games are against clubs below them in the table. If the Reds are going to make a run for Champions League qualification, this five-match stretch will be critical, starting with Everton on Monday.

Team News

Senne Lammens made his senior international debut in a 7-0 Belgium win over Liechtenstein on Tuesday. The 23-year-old will be aiming to claim his second clean sheet as a Red at Old Trafford against Everton.

He’s back! Maybe. Lisandro Martinez could make his first matchday squad since his ACL injury on February 2. While fans eagerly await his return, Martinez is not yet ready to hit the pitch. For now, Luke Shaw should retain his spot at left center back alongside Matthijs De Ligt and Leny Yoro. Harry Maguire is not yet ready to return after picking up a knock.

Kobbie Mainoo is the lone midfielder who is a doubt for Ruben Amorim on Monday. Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro have been excellent of late and should be joined by Amad Diallo and Patrick Dorgu. The latter starred for Denmark during the international break, scoring against Scotland and constantly threatening in the draw with Belarus.

While he is not expected to be out for an extended period of time, Benjamin Sesko’s injury limits Amorim’s options up front. Mason Mount should join the attack, while Matheus Cunha plays out of the middle. Bryan Mbeumo, who has been United’s best player this season, will play opposite Mount.

Lineup Prediction

Goalkeeper: Senne Lammens

Defenders: Leny Yoro, Matthijs De Ligt, Luke Shaw

Midfielders: Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Patrick Dorgu
