Ruben Amorim has his new striker.
Manchester United and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement on a deal for Benjamin Sesko, with the initial fee set at €76.5 million and a further €8.5 million in potential add-ons.
Sesko already agreed on a contract until 2030, as reported yesterday. The 22-year-old is set to take over the coveted No. 9 role after Amorim signaled his intent to move on from Rasmus Hojlund.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement on X.

The Slovenian striker scored 21 times for the Bundesliga side in all competitions last season. He joined from RB Salzburg in 2023.
Sesko chose Manchester United over Newcastle United, despite the offer of Champions League football from the Magpies. He joins Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in a new look attack for the Reds.
