The Europa League Final is nearly here, and Ruben Amorim will have plenty of decisions surrounding his starting eleven on Wednesday. The Portuguese boss aims to win his first European trophy in charge of the club, while also boosting his team into next season’s Champions League.

Team News

Ruben Amorim named a strong lineup for the Red Devils’ 1-0 loss to Chelsea, and luckily, no new injuries emerged. The United boss saw the match as an opportunity to push his players, keep them focused, and see who should start against Tottenham.

Matthijs De Ligt and Diogo Dalot are pushing to be available, but neither is likely to start the Final. Leny Yoro picked up a foot injury last week but may be available to start after quickly returning to training.

With Dalot unlikely to start, Noussair Mazraoui will play opposite Patrick Dorgu in the right wing back role. Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes, two of the most important players for the Final, will run the midfield.

Amad Diallo started over Alejandro Garnacho against Chelsea, and should do the same against Tottenham. The Ivorian has been impressive since his return to injury, while Garnacho has left fans frustrated by his lack of a final product.

Alongside Amad, Mason Mount could start again after his recent performances. Ruben Amorim is a fan of Mount’s pressing and energy, which could be key in a match of this magnitude.

Rasmus Hojlund is expected to retain his place in the lineup despite a disappointing goal-scoring record this season. Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee has returned to training after a prolonged absence and may be in contention to feature in the Final.

Lisandro Martinez and Jonny Evans will miss the chance to play in the match due to long-term injuries.

Predicted Lineup
