Impressive performances by Antony in Spain are putting clubs around Europe on notice.

After becoming an afterthought at Manchester United due to two-and-a-half years of struggles, Antony has found new life on loan at Real Betis.

In his first five matches in Spain, the 24-year-old has scored three times and assisted once, including three goal involvements in La Liga. For context, Antony scored just five times in 62 Premier League games at United.

The Brazilian’s efforts earned him a nomination for the La Liga Player of the Month, but that’s not all. The positive performances are putting top clubs around Europe on watch.

According to Fichajes, Juventus has joined the race to sign Antony following recent reports that Bayern Munich is keeping tabs on him. A continuation of his current form will only fuel the transfer rumor fire, as he is unlikely to return to United.

Antony is an out-and-out winger, meaning that he doesn’t have a place in Ruben Amorim’s tactical setup. While Amad Diallo thrived as a right wing back before his season-ending injury, Antony’s performances in the position gave little implication that he could play there long term.

Keep an eye on other teams joining the race for Antony, as this saga is just getting started.
