Manchester United boasts a wealth of young talent. Players like Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund have made significant contributions to the first team. Additionally, new signings such as Chido Obi-Martin and Sekou Kone have strengthened the club’s academy. With a renewed emphasis on scouting the best young players, Manchester United is actively planning future transfers.
One such player is Feyenoord’s Antoni Milambo. According to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United has been scouting the 19-year-old in recent months and is preparing to make an offer as soon as next summer.
Milambo has featured sixteen times for De Club Aan De Maas this season in all competitions. The Dutch U21 international has scored six times, including three in the Champions League. After only featuring ten times last season, Milambo has burst into the scene this year, raising interest around Europe.
Manchester United will enter the first transfer window with Ruben Amorim in charge this January. Financial constraints may limit big moves in the short term, but selling unnecessary players could aid in preparing for the summer window.
Feyenoord has not yet set a fee for Milambo, while Transfermarkt values him at €12m. While no interest has yet been reported, United will be wary of Arne Slot and Liverpool, as Milambo was given his senior debut by the current Liverpool manager.
