Manchester United’s young stars Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho finished in the Top 6 of the final Kopa Trophy rankings. Kobbie Mainoo finished third, behind winner Lamine Yamal and runner-up Arda Guler. Alejandro Garnacho tied with PSG midfielder Joao Neves for sixth.
Kobbie Mainoo burst onto the scene last season with a late winner over Wolves. The England international’s best highlight came in the FA Cup final, where he scored the winning goal over bitter rivals Manchester City. He made his England debut in a friendly against Brazil in March.
Alejandro Garnacho has established himself as one of the best young wingers in the Premier League. The Argentine scored seven times last season in the league while assisting another four goals.
Mainoo and Garnacho are already important first-team players and could be integral in Manchester United’s return to the top.
Congratulations to both players on their accomplishments.
