Argentine forward Alejandro Garnacho will not feature for his national team this window due to knee discomfort. He will miss World Cup Qualifiers against Venezuela and Bolivia.

Garnacho confirmed his withdrawal with a post on Instagram. He stated, “I’ve had knee problems for the last two games and I’m not able to be with the national team, but I hope to recover quickly and be with them for the next matches.”

Alejandro Garnacho will now focus in his health over the next two weeks in an effort to be ready for United’s matches against Brentford and Fenerbahçe.

The 20-year-old is coming off a window where he had an assist as a substitute in a win over Chile. He was also a part of Argentina’s Copa America winning team this summer.

Alejandro Garnacho joins Noussair Mazraoui as Manchester United players who have been forced out of international matches due to injury.
