Manchester United are interested in bringing 18-year-old Southampton winger Tyler Dibling to Old Trafford, according to GIVEMESPORT. The English winger has impressed since moving up from the U21 side, including in a match against United at St. Mary’s.

Against United, Dibling made a quality outside back in Diogo Dalot uncomfortable in the early going. He drew four fouls, including a penalty that Cameron Archer failed to convert. His one shot on-target forced a decent save from Andre Onana.

Speaking about Dibling, Southampton manager Russell Martin said, “I think the biggest thing I can say is if he’s playing it tells you what we feel about him at 18 years old. The stuff that he can do that we trust him with.”

Manchester United, under the new footballing staff, are working to identify younger talents, instead of overpaying for them when they prove their value. United continually miss out on players like Jadon Sancho early on, only to pay a premium fee later.

Dan Ashworth has been watching Dibling for a while and believes that he could be a top-level player in the future. Ashworth’s interest dates back to his time at Newcastle United.

Tyler Dibling is one to watch for Manchester United, as the Reds will want to act quickly to secure his services if other clubs begin to circle.
