Manchester United are interested in bringing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot to Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer. Rabiot is currently on international duty with France at the European Championships, so any move is likely to happen at the conclusion of the tournament.

The 29-year-old midfielder has spent twelve seasons with PSG and Juventus and has over forty appearances with the French national team. Rabiot’s experience and quality make him a potentially great fit next to budding superstar Kobbie Mainoo, who could benefit from Rabiot’s mentorship.

With many upgrades needed and money slim, a free transfer for Rabiot could be a huge boost to Ineos in their first summer in charge of football operations. The Reds also have reported interest in Benfica’s Joao Neves, but his signature would require a $100 million fee.

Manchester United need at least one new midfielder this summer, as both Christian Eriksen and Casemiro are likely to leave the club, according to a report from CaughtOffside. Rabiot could be a great signing in a summer where United needs a striker, center-back, and left-back as well.

Many clubs are interested in the Frenchman’s services, including Liverpool and AC Milan.

Would Rabiot be a good signing for Manchester United?
